bbc connecting rods

A friend gave me a set of connecting rods and i am trying to find out what they are. Maybe someone out there can tell me what I have.
They are 25 to 30 years old. General Motors Part number 3963552. They are BBC with 7/16 bolts and a "dimple". The beams have white paint on them and there is purple paint on the large end of the rod. Any info would be helpful!

well im not sure what they are but you may call your local gm dealer give them the #s they can run them and im looking for bbc 454 you know where i can get on thanks
