My younger brother has an ipod and i just love the thing, so i really want to get one for myself. It seems whenever i type "ipod" into Amazon i get a few very cheap results from new users (no history) on the 'Marketplace', or whatever it's called. We're talking at least half the in-store price and listed as "new", so i don't see how it isn't a scam. Amazon says:

From what I understand, it's something new they've come out with, that's all I know about it though.

I can, but for about twice the price. For all i know the Marketplace sellers are selling stolen ipods, i don't know :dunno:

Sounds like ebay to me. They make all sorts of guarantees like that, and nothing ever happens if it doesn't show up.

It doesn't hugely matter if it's nicked. It matters if i send off my money and get nothing in return. Fuck knows if this Amazon guarantee is worth anything so i was wondering if anyone has any experience with it. Hence this thread....

I didn't mean over the internet. Go to areas you know they sell hot products and buy from there.
