Error message 2002 Buick Rendezvous

Hi, I am getting an odometor error message. Where the odometer usually reads the mileage, now it just reads "error" . This has just happened in the last day or two. Can anyone help out?

sounds like a BCM memory problem if i had to guess, going to the dealership is basicly your only opition for a car that new.

Thanks for the help, I wonder what the cost will be for the dealer to fix.
