i'm 18 years old and was thinking of getting a honda civic but i don't know what is the best year. i want to get a civic that is safest car of all plus i can afford any civic because my parents are getting me one..

92 Civic CX, a first time driver doesn't need anything more than that.

well for the same price that you can get a 2004 civic si, you could get a 2000 integra type-r. wich in my oppinion is alot safer!

If your parents will get you any civic why not just get the newest lowest mileage one you can find? As you increase in the years the safety ratings will increase, I assume. Also you said you are 18 so I am assuming this isnt the first car your going to be driving so I doubt you will just go out and wreck it in a week so why not shoot for the newest thing you can get.

god why a civic?
sure there good starter cars and great to get granny to the eye doctor but if my folks were shelling out the dough for any car in that range i'd look elsewhere.
