If you have a Lancer OZ or Lancer LS the minimum offset for an 18x7.5 wheel would be 42mm
If you have a Lancer ES the minimum offset would be 40mm
In either case the 37mm offset is lower than recommended and could cause several problems, including but not limited to: Tire rubbing when cornering or when the car is fully loaded, premature bearing failure, handling problems because of the alteration of the suspension geometry

I have a 04 Lancer OZ with stock 15" rims/ 4 lug 4X114 and 46mm offest. Does anyone know if a set of ADR Intense (7spoke) 17" rims (same lug/bolt pattern above) with a 40mm offest on 205/45/17 tires will work? I was wondering if the front brake calipers would get in the way.
