just finished doing a headgasket... now code9

ok so i finished doing the head gasket on my dohc zc (defective gasket) :( and now since its done, its throwing a code 9, but idles very smoothly and nicely

is this because i left the battery connected the whole time? i'm gonna re-set the ecu and see if it goes away

any help would be great

Reset the ecu and see if it goes away first. If it was the code you were getting prior, maybe its gone now and just hasn't reset like you said.
