Anyone know where the thermistor (coolant temp sensor) that the computer reads for the check engine light is? I found the one for the temp gauge on the driver's side but I can't find the other one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Isn't it on the back of the passenger side of the block?

I didn't see it there. Can't find it anywhere. I saw a previous post saying that it was in between the alternator and the A/C compressor next to the EGR valve. When I looked there there was a spot for it but a blank was installed there. I've been lookin for a few hours now and can't find it .... Anyone with any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Located on the driver's side cylinder head between cylinders 3 and 5.

the one on the driver's side cylinder block is for the gauge, the one next to the rad hose on top of the engine is for the ECM.

97 was the last year in the intake manifold, the later years are in the right side cylinder head
