Desparate for help.....95 Lumina sedan 3.1L

I need help for my hubby and son....

He blew the head gasket a week ago....


So far they have...

Changed the head gaskets...
Heads rectofied...
Still knocking real bad...

Then.
Cleaned the oil system out... no help.
Replaced all lifters.....still no help.....

Still bad knock.

Now they went to replace the rod bearings and now they cannot get the oil pan dropped....... it comes down, but cannot get it out.....

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

According to Chiltos, the engine must be released from the motor mounts and suspended, and then moved over, to get the pan off. Best bet get a book like Chilltons, or send to a good mechanic. This is not an easy fix and can be DANGEROUS, for the uninformed.
