How much is too much?

Ok, so I love driving, and am usually doing that about 70% of the day. So needless to say I put quite a few miles on. Im just wondering if there are any precautionary measures I can do (other than routine services and such), or should I just be driving less? Had my tib for about 2 months now and already tacked on about 6k miles for a grand total of 48k.

Except for the fact that I hate leaving it in the hands of the dealer mechanics. I do believe there is a thread about them. Just give me the part when I need it and I will do the work....oh god, I think I am still very much hung over. Ugh!

Engine work may not be that easy, but if you are going to work on it, (ie: Most of the Dealership mechanics), then you should know what your doing, and alot of times I have seen otherwise with them. Its not that they dont know, its that they dont have 100% care and focus on the car at hand. Missing one bolt or screw is something I would do, not the mech., and I hear and see it happen all the time.

and plus its their job, and if they cant do it good, then they should do something else!

Exactly my point. Some mechs turn a wrench for the pay, others, usually ones who are in smaller shops, fix things for the pay. I saw it all the time when I was in the Army, and it irritated me, because others half assed the repairs. Ok, sorry if I am way off the thread topic lol. Anyways, I put on another 203miles on her tonight.

The quality of the mechanics can vary from dealer to delaer. My dealer mechanics are top notch when it comes to anything stock, but aftermarket...they need to think outside the box more.
