A/C Fan doesnt tun on....

Often when I turn on the A/C the fan doesnt blow. To "fix it" I reach under the glove box and hit the underside of the fan and PRESTO! it works...then a couple of days later I have to beat it like it owes me money again.

So what can I do to fix it for good?

You're talking about the fan that pushes air out the vents right? If you search here there has been a couple of +98 owners that this fan dies, and they have to remove the dash and replace the fan (motor dies).
