1993 Cavalier/Coil Pack Problems

Remove and replace 3.1 engine in 1993 Cavalier with 1990 3.1 engine. There is something in the system that is stopping the Coil Packs from functioning. Things that I have tried are replaced crank sensor, replaced computer, replaced ground, and replaced coil packs. I was wondering if the map sensor could be the problem. Please reply. Thank you.

How do you know it's the coil packs?
