Hey everybody, I'm having what is probably a really dumb problem with my beloved Sunfire - and I know how to fix it - but I can't. So maybe one of ya'll can help.
I need to replace the DRL relay in my 2000 sunfire. However, I can't remove it! lol I feel really stupid, every website I've looked at says you can just "pull it out" of the fuse panel, but mine is very firmly stuck in there somehow. Is there a trick to it that I'm missing?? I wouldn't bother with it's replacement, but I really need my hi-beams, I do a lot of night driving on deer-plentiful back roads. :\ So any help would be awesome.

in my grand prix, to disable the DRL's all you have to do is pull the connector off of the DRL diode....and same problem, the damn thing just wouldnt move! so I just cut the wires :D

That's not my problem though! I WANT the DRL's to work, so my hi-beams work! hehe I wish it was as easy as cuttin a few wires. I still can't get the darn relay to budge, it's a black cube stuck into the fuse panel... every website says I should just be able to "pull it out" but it's very firmly stuck in there... hard to tell how, because the door obstructs the fuse panel to a certain extent. I'm taking the car in today to have a fuel problem looked at, I think I'll just ask my mechanic if HE can get it out. lol
