05 silverado air intake

I was woundering which brand air intake do you guys use. I was looking on ebay and I can't beleive all the different ones they have. I have a 1500 4.8L Thanks

I have a K&N fipk gen 2. It was installed late in the fall and it turned really cold fast so i do not know how much of a increase in power or fuel mileage i really got out of it , but once the werather turns warm again i will be able to tell. Since i bought the truck i keep track of the mileage and fuel amounts each time i fill up.

I just installed a K & N FIPK, Gen 2. Kit # 57-3030-1

Installed on 3-11-05.

2002, 2500HD, 8.1 litre.

Was it worth $240.00, not sure. I do know that my truck likes it. Every bit of it.

Gas milage increase? To be determined.....

Performance increase, definitely.

This is the only mod I have done to date.

I am happy, very happy.
