Too hard

Anyone else think the NASCAR games from EA are too hard? I'm a pretty good gamer, but i stink at Thunder. Anyone else?

what difficulty level are you trying to race in?

I think the games are far too easy. EA makes horrible NASCAR games but I still play 2005 online. Ridiculous setups, for instance Talladega - 15psi 1/100 springs +4.0 wedge .80 4th gear. You will whoop the AI car, I can start 43rd and be in 1st after 3 laps. That's pathetic, what fun is that?

Has nebody played the new 2005 sim nascar game? Or they FIA GTR oval kings patch?

I heard the SIM game sucks, EA should just give up on racing games.

If anything I think EA makes the games too easy. I'm playing in career mode on 2005 right now on "extreme" difficulty 12% race length. Second season in late models I won 13 out of 16 races, 15 top 5s, 16 top 10s, 14 poles, led 201 out of 246 laps. If I really would have tried I could have won everything and led every lap which is what I'm going to attempt to do in my third season. I don't mind the game being easy though since it is an arcade game. When I want a real challenge I play NASCAR 2003.

i think ea's nascar games are horrible, the best was thunder 04, it was the hardest. i think it's dumb as hell to have a car that can b in first in 3 laps after starting last and fliping 5 times. they should just give up, and the grahpics havent gotten better for the past 3 yrs, maybe even worse. i think they were just working at the limits of the systems with nascar 07, ps3 and wii werent out, and 360 wasnt really new, just a redone regular xbox.

Not it's not too hard at all. The trick is to stay behind other cars to draft them, then overtake them. At corner, stay outside to overtake, then go inside at straight line to overtake.

When you don't overtake, do the opposite: outside at straight line, then brake and stay inside at corner.

I prefer when the traction control is activated so that I don't spin.

I found that Papyrus make more difficult game. We push the gas and spin 3 times.

Then you can just reduces the number of laps in race option. It doesn't worth time to drive 72 laps in a computer.

Well practice make a a man perfect more you play the game more you fingers gets settle over the control and hence the difficulty goes down eventually.So,better start playing more.:)
