Weird noise

Ok i just changed the timing belt and other belts around it i started the car after i was done to see if the timing was off it wasnt but then i hear this noise sounds like it comming from the exaust cam but i cant tell i also changed the cam seals too since i had a oil leak the car runs fine no oil leak or nothing i dont know but the noise is very loud and i lubed the rubber cam seals and everything i dont know what is going on can someone help me out? oh yeah the timing belt cover is it ok to leave it off or should i put it back on?

it has a little bit not to much i put it to tight and the belt was smoking so i losened it a hair but that wasnt the problem

keep the timing belt cover on if you dont something could just pop up get into your timing belt break it and there you go you have to relpace the engine, it would suck. my timing belt broke and I bent the rods and snaped the connecting rods I would keep it on.

i just noticed it does say weird NOSE. sorry i was diagnosing you problem wrong. No really did you ever find out where it was really coming from?

well it sounds like it is comming from the left cam but them i look under the wheel well and it sounds like it is comming from under the cam sprocket maybe i have to lube something i really dont know im going to have a good friend come over and check it out today ill let you know what is was that was making that sound ok prob something simple :rolleyes:

Ok i found out what the problem was on my car was it was a tensioner pulley baring i had to replace the pulley. That fixed my car now it runs so much better.
