Some info re stalling of 98 Astro, 4.3L
First occurance:
Look in my fuse box to find out that the 20A fuse
for the ignition was blown. Replaced it and it blew
a few minutes later. Put a 30 Amp to get me going again.
Second occurance:
A couple of weeks later it died again but the fuse was still
good.
Turns out my ignition coil died. More than likely the fuse
was telling me that my ignition coil was shorting out.
Bottom line...
Keep some fuses handy, they can save you a towing charge.

Telling people to replace their blown fuses with ones of a higher amperage is not only bad advice, it's just plain stupid.
