Well I got the car, It started right up with just a jump. Wireing looks horriable and the car doesn't idle it just idles for like 5 seconds then dies. I pulled the whole engine harness out cause I want to redo all of the connections (solder) The question is, There was a brown wire that I could find both ends of but it was cut in two, What is this wire for? It is brown with gray circles around it every so often, it was going from somewhere by front right headlight and then over by the lower center of the intake manifold. Also the White wire at the ECU with gray circles what is it used for? There is a Turbo timer in the car and a Greddy profec B It most likely goes to one of these I just want to know what all I can no hook up at first so I can trouble shoot and find the problem. If anyone has a full ENGLISH pin layout of the wire harness at the ECU that would be VERY helpful I want to remove any wires that I don't need so that I don't have 10,000 wires running around not going to anything.

I'll try and check for you when i get home. I seem to remember that when i installed an SAFC2 the brown wire was a ground. i'll try to check again though.

if you have a 100 dollars or so to spare then you should send your wiring harness into heavy throttle and get your wiring harness worked on. and i doubt that any of the wires you are describing goes to your boost controller, any wiring for that is going to go straight through your fire wall. i have the same boost controller and it doesn't have that.
_also your problem might not be in the wiring, you might look more into the mechanical aspects of your engine for a problem like not idling. and when it does idle for those couple of seconds does the rpm lope or does it idle smoothly.-hope that helps

Well I have now fixed the idle problem, it was just wiring. I wouldn't pay $100 to have anyone else touch my wire harness not even if they were going to do it for free. I want to do all of this car myself so I know it is done perfect, just that kind of person. But for alot of people that prob does work well. The problem with the idle was resolved when I found the ECC wire (red/black) was snapped right where they had extened the harness, I gutted the whole harness resoldered everything then heat shrink then tape, and I'm going to tape it all up in groups once I get done with everything I'm adding to it that way it's one nice pretty wire harness.
