ok, I'm new here obviously. But, I need help. I blew my 95 GS the other day, so I'm working on a 96 Eagle Talon that I've had sitting around for a while. Well, the Fuel pressure regulator is dumping fuel into the alternator, so I ordered a new replacement. I was wanting to know the RIGHT way to change FPRs so that I'm ready when the part gets here. THANKS!!!!

EDIT>>> oh fuel pressure regulator. its pretty much straight forward... un-bolt it take it off and replace with new hardware, wear some old clothes because gaurenteed you will get gas on them...

Thanks, but I've already figured it out and have fixed the problem. There is a small snap-ring holding the pressure regulator into the fuel rail. Simply remove this, pull FPR out, lube new FPR with grease, pop it back in, and simply replace the snap-ring...Hook up the vaccuum line and Voila!...you're done...lol

Just make sure you didnt use a grease that will break down the O-ring that I'm ASSuming the NT regulators have. ;)

Edit> The oring is probably Viton, which is safe with most materials, but its something I try to think about anyway.
