I dont know about anyone else but my 94 Metro HB used to fog up like crazy and didnt hold any heat. While hooking up my CD player, amp, and speakers, I realized that there is NO insulation between the quarter panels and the interior of the car. So i took some extra house insulation and stuffed it in those spaces that had none. Now My car holds heat like crazy, and doesn't fog up anymore.
This is just a post for people who are having the same problem of fogging. You should try and do this.

wow, that's a pretty clever idea! I have to try that...I'm sick of driving with just a front view of the road and having all the other windows fogged up like london. Does the insulation trick help the hatch window too?
Also, just throwing this out there...do you think that there's any way to rig up a small defroster for the rear hatch? I'm thinking something along the lines of an amplifier cooling fan just to blow the warm air from the front onto the glass.
Thanks for the idea with the insulation though!

Insulation holds moisture. In time your quarters will rust.
