When headlights are turned on, Rear Brake lights and 3rd High Brake light stays on all the time. Foot is not on brake. Recently changed rear speakers. Wife blames fault in installing new speakers.....me wiring. Used speaker wiring harness and traced wires.....Don't think speaker wiring is the problem. Any suggestions? No trailer wiring harness attached.

Do you have a trailer wire harness plug in? If so unplug it and see what happens.

check the switch that turns on when you step on the brakes. pull the bulbs and clean up the sockets.

Just in *case* you accidently tapped into something by accident, an easy, quick test to ease your wife into understanding that it's just a coincidence is reverting back to your old speaker setup temporarily.
This will ease your mind as well.
