I'm about to purchase a 1991 toyota camry with about 214k on it. Im leaving the car at home in illinois while I go back to Iowa for about 5 weeks, as I don't need a car while I'm there. I won't be insuring it while I'm in Iowa, so it won't be drivable. What would be some good things to do to the car to prepare it for storage? Would it be a good idea to start the engine and let it idle once a week, or should i not start it at all while it is being stored but pour some oil down the intake to fog the engine and keep the cylinders from rusting due to moisture? any help will be appreciated!!!

Don't worry about a thing for 5 weeks. If you want, have someone go start it once at about 2.5 weeks and go through the gears, drive it around some if possible.

Otherwise, just disconnect the battery and let it sit. A good car cover will protect the paint from bird droppings and falling icicles from power lines, etc.
