I'm going to a wrecker tomorrow, because he has a Camaro that he just got in, and I want to get some parts out of it. I'm looking for parts that should be on my car, but aren't, and this is the one that irritates me most.

Does anybody know how to take this part of the windshield wiper off?

I have a 99Z so mine may be slightly different, that said, remove your wiper arms. Then there are I believe 6 torx type srews along the front (hood side) edge. Remove them. The plastic "cowl" is teo seperate pieces. I also remember a couple of those plastic POS retainer bolt/clip like what hold the air box silencer on. That should be about it other than the washer fluid lines. Hope this helps, been awhile since I took mine off, so don't really remember the details.

I'm not talking about the whole big wiper arm. I'm talking about the little black piece just below it on the wiper. It's missing from my car, you just can't see it in the picture of my car.

Just get the whole arm if it comes with it.
