Lowering Car Question

I have a friend who is a mechanic. I told him I wanna lower my car. I have just bought new Tenzo springs and I wanna put em on. So I was lookin at some coil overs but he told me that my car would be jumpy. We went to another friend who had coil overs and that shit sucked. The mechanic (my friend) and another guy had lowered their cars with only springs and original shocks and its been like 2 years now. I heard that lower springs wear out your shocks but theirs were fine and I know he didnt replace em either. And the riding quality with original shocks and springs was a lot better than the coil overs. Would you recommend I do the same with my racin springs and original shocks ? Oh you think it can be done without going to a service and to the compressor but rather at home ?( I think its impossible but maybe there is a way) ? Thank you

it doesn't matter what springs or coilovers you get, its the shocks that make your car not jumpy. I would advise getting some good shocks, I've never heard the factory DSM ones lasting very long on lowered cars.

This same question has been asked like 4 times this week. Look down the topics page a bit and you should find the threads. :)
