I have a Dodge Caravan SE ( Year 2001) .

There is a problem with the headlight , the daytime running light and the low/high beam lights.

With the engine running, daytime running light on driver side is on, passenger side is off; When I switched to low beam ,low beam of passenger side is on, driver side is off. Never working on both sides.

Without the engine running, switch to low beam, low beam on passenger side comes on, while driver side is off.

I have replaced new bulbs, all relays removed , cleaned and reseated, all fuses are o.k.

Appreciated if there is any suggestion.

p.s. same problem posted by Chris. j titled " Help --Weird headlight problem (caravan 01)

Did this just start happening out of the blue or was there any bulbs changed just prior or battery change or anything electrical related?

Thank you B33p3r for your response.
The problem first happened all of a sudden a month ago ,and it fixed by itself for no reason after engine shutdown for 2 hours. This time problem persists for five days and still there. I had changed no bulbs or battery since this car purchased .

maybe theres something wrong with your daytime running lamp control module. when you put it on high beam does both sides work ok ?

High Beam works on one side only.

when the daytime running lamp is on it uses your high beams on 50% power. so im thinking your daytime running lamp control module is defective or try changing your bulbs again. also make sure you are not touching the bulbs when you put them in, the oil on your fingers will cause the bulbs blow. if you do happen to touch them make sure you clean them with alcohol.
