I got a 1996 4dr integra rs. Are there any free mods I can do to it? I only have CAI.

You can advance your timing by 18 degrees and use premium gas.
That should give you a slight improvement in performance.

free? nothing in this world is free. dream on.
since you already have a cai, you already took out the resonator box. Thats the only free mod i can think of.

I think you just contradicted yourself there.

Is it safe to advance timing to 18 degrees?

you can bypass the coolent on the throttle body. gap your spark plugs and get some spark plug thread collars so you can position the opening of the plug right at the cylinder.

How does it help to bypass the coolant to the throttle body? Wouldn't it cause a problem in colder countries?

well dont do it if its cold outside. its a good summer mod. coolent is used to heat the throttle body when its cold so it doesn't stick but this heats the air going into your engine. some people say it does nothing or that they can't feel any freed up horsepower when this is done but what the hell. it cant hurt.

take a screwdriver and take out your spare tires and back seats. makes the car lighter and give you an excuse to not drive your friends around. haha take the exhaust manifold offm, it makes it louder and not nature friendly but lots of free hp. :flash:
