Blower motor (91 gs)

I have a 1991 integra gs and recently my blower motor filled with water and then froze. This killed the motor, so I tried to remove it, but I am having a hard time. I looked at a Haynes manual but that thing is a piece of crap! I have removed all of the clips and the metal bar between the heater core and it looks like the motor and its housing (bottom half) should slide down and out, but there is something holding it in place. Anyone with any suggestions? To make it easier for you to get in touch with me: I am gomer999 on AIM. Also, if anyone knows a good way to unclog the drain plug that connects to the blower motor housing, that would be awesome too :) TIA
