i just got off the phone with b&m, and the guy told me that it comes with a round silver (either chrome or polished alum. - not sure) shift knob and the throw is reduced by 40%. that means that if the original throw is 6 inches, it is reduced to 3.6 inches. just wanted to clarify...

Is there a difference between the Stillen short shift and the B&M?
How hard is it to install a short shifter? and do I need to also change to a racing clutch?

Also, does anyone know whether or not Nismo makes a 5 speed shifter, possibly aluminum looking?

Looking to replace stock and the shifter all at once.

If someone can let me know, that would be great!! its for an '02 P11.
