You've probably seen this by now, but we don't have any reports of anything OTHER than the PK16PR11 working reliably on the 2000+ 3.2/3.5. Dont know if the iridium's will cause misfires or not!?!

I put the Denso Iridium plugs in mine about 6 months ago. They brought my gas mileage up to like 15. I never have had any problems that I know of with them. Now I can't seem to get above 13 MPG, but I don't think that has anything to do with the plugs. To answer your question... yes they're worth it.

Based on your profile, yours is a 1998? iridiums should be okay for up to 1999. 2000+ are the tough years for plugs. herke27's is a 2000.

thanks for the information. i was needing to replace my plugs before this 4000+ mi journey which begins on tuesday. the iridiums were the only ones i could find in town, so i bit the bullet and drove 90 mi to pick up the OEM plugs from the dealer in mobile. now no worries for another 70,000.

found a good deal on 6 new plugs ($49). has anyone tried these and if so, with what sort of result? bought four for my mitsubishi eclipse which is a turbo, they are the right plugs but when i put them in the car, the car stumbled at higher speeds and died out put the old plugs back in car and it ran fine, so beware. my car is all stock.
