Alright i have a friend that i work with that has a teg gsr that he totalled. He is planning to swap the gsr into his new EG hatch. But what he told me today is that he isnt going to use the gsr block but instead he wants an LS block (which i think is dumb). But anyways he said he would sell me the complete block for $400 and asked me when i could have the money! The gsr is my engine of choice and this would be an awesome opportunity to get it. So it looks like i may not getting an integra for a swap after all. Im trying not to get my hopes up though just incase it doesnt happen.

dude if you have the funds go after it, if you have at least a decent amount offer him that, i would go for it. Def a worthy pick up, and best of all its a GSR!!!

what milage does it have and is it only the motor or the hole set up ecu, axles, wiring h.,tranny motor..etc.

i dont know if im gonna get it. its alot of money to put into an old car like mine that has been wrecked. The more i think about it, the more i dont want to get it. I dont want to put alot of money into a car like that. Maybe just to keep it running good but thats it.
I did a tuneup yesterday and 3 of 4 sparkplug holes had oil in them. The little round seals for the sparkplugs went bad. I have a valve cover gasket with them and im gonna replace it when i get the time. But i dont know if i really want to spend alot of money with this car anymore. I really want to get a tacoma and slam it. Maybe if i ever get the extra money ill go ahead and do a mpfi swap on my engine and an exhaust but thatll prolly be it.

i just bought a 97 tacoma last month and im thinking about selling it (about 3g or less). its not a salvage title, just high mileage 330k miles.

god damn man. how the hell did you get 330k on a 97? Do you drive cross country daily?

my 2 cents, if you dont know if you want to put the money into it, then dont, IF you decide you want to, there are alwase parts for sale here and e bay, if you buy it and decide you dont want to, your out the money, you may luck out, and break even or make a little, but not a whole lot, you have to be passionate about your whip to put the money into her
