Apex'i WS suspension

I was looking for coilovers and found the Apex'i World Sport ones, they're cheap (1000-1200 range) and how bad can they be if they're made by Apex'i, right? I looked around for reviews and stuff and got mixed shit, some loved them and said they offered a great ride, others loved them because they were really stiff for track and others hated them because they couldn't bolt them onto the car, but when they finally did they got a ride height increase (I suspect a mental defect). Anyways, just wondering if anyone here knew anything about them? I wasn't ganna look at coilovers because they are pricey, but if these are good, it's not a bad price.

KTS Coils > Apex-i World Sport

WS is a street oriented coilover. it wont be as strong as the KTS. Tanabes are lame besides the RR.

Well I want a comfy ride :-P I mean I won'T be taking my car to the track, or if I do it'll be like 1-2 times a year, I think I'll stick with the strut/spring thing, maybe D-Bo can tell me what he think of the KYB/Eibach when he installs them.

Its not so much that they dont work well. its just that for the money they charge for them you could get KTS / Silk Road / Buddy Club with more features and a better reputation.

yeah those are all good but i looked around and i couldnt find anything as good for like $1150. Those are all more expensive but i guess you are paying for the reputation and brand name a little.

i'll take that as a flame.. and a well deserved one too.. i bought the things in october and they're still in my room.. i have no money.. its all going to my phone and computer.. i'm not working at all these days either.. and since i'm goin to bc in may, my car may not be on the road for a month before that.. so i just might wait till i get back in july to install them.. and i'm not putting it in till i get a camber kit cause i'm buying toyo proxes fz4s brand new and don't want them worn by september.. so if all goes as planned then i should be taking home about 9000 after taxes, living costs, air fare and spending money.. which will pay off my debt, put in my suspension, mafs and injectors and safc... all thats left after that will be the exhaust manifold, turbo, dp, exhaust and maybe some other small things.. this is all tentative since i might rebuild the moment i get back in july..

anyhoo.. where did all that come from?!??!

sorry..

Not so about the KTS

KTS---------------TANABE PRO SS
Inverted------------Not Inverted
Double Height Adj---Not Double Height
Central US Support-----Unlikely

for Under 1250 theres no Excuse not to get the KTSs. The ride isnt even that bad.

yeah.. i'm definitely not putting them on till it goes back on the road cause the springs need to be broken in and it sitting there probably won't do the job.. we'll see what happens
