allright i just got done installing my turbo logic manual boost controller and a boost gauge, i plug the hole in the intake and the one on the tubo housing, i run the line on the mbc thats opposite the screw part to the line between the bov and the intake manifold and the line that comes out the side to the wastegate...
i take the car out to do some pulls to set the mbc and my car is extremely slow, dont know what the prob is but it is so much slower than it was before, i tightened up the mbc to where my gauge says im boosting 10psi tightened it more but its still boosting 10 psi, guessing the bov has reached its leaking point, but the car is still S L O W... it just feels really laggy, when i punch it it just doesnt shoot off like it did before, heres some pics, ive checked all the hoses, theyere all tight and still on, anyone have any ideas?
here's the mbc, top line going to line between bov and manifold

heres the line coming from my gauge

Damn man thats sucky. If anyone can help him out that be good cuz i read so many pages on installs that me and 1stgenrocks were even kinda confused without seeing it all in front of us. I have a turbo logic mbc too so if he can fix his problem, I plan to refer back to this for guidance during my install. Good luck man.

Everything seems to be hooked up right. Is there a bleed hole in between the MBC and the WGA? There has to be one to let the WG close again when you let off. Sometimes its a pice that you splice inline with the vac line, sometiems its drilled right into the body of the MBC. Make sure there is something there. If the WG cant close, it will feel laggy. But WOT performance should feel the same, if boost is the same. IMO, 10 psi SHOULD feel very slow ;) Turn that shit up a little.

on my Hallman MBC you actually have to tighten the two inline and output opening on the boost controller to ensure no leaks. either that, or the only other thing i could think of is your MBC spring, check and make sure it's sitting at a correct positiong with the ball. and did it come with different springs, mine came with soft and hard spring for different amount of boosting.

the MBC does have the little hole in it, ill try twist tying the hoses that connect to the mbc and see if that doesnt help, i used lube to help slide all the hoses on to, would that cause a problem? and i just went through the book the mbc came with and it told me to connect the boost source side of the mbc to the turbo (compresoor) housing? ive never read anywhere to do that, anyone have any other ideas? thanks for the help so far

You can do the compressor housing fitting (if your turbo has it, only t25 type turbos do usually) or the BOV line. I prefer a manifold source like the BOV line, since you are trying to control boost pressure in the manifold, not in the compressor housing ;)
Did you try turning the boost up? Stock boost on a 2g should be about 14, ten is like 40% less.

HOLD ONNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!! Okay..im looking at my turbo logic mbc book and it has a picture of the TL-21(mbc) and it says the bottom bar is "to boost source" and the side one is "wastegate". Now under dsm's the directions said this in exact words
"Run the hose off the bottom of the Model TL-21 MBC to the wastegate actuator."
Which is the opposite of their original diagram? WHAT IS THAT ALL ABOUT!

I don't fuckin get it. V-faq shows to hook it up like that. Turbo-X's shows to hook it up the other way (with the bottom vac. line going to th WG, and the side vac. line going to the bov.) . I don't know why they show diff. they both function the same way. I guess i would try switching it around and see if anything change's.

so which one is right, running it from the BOV line or from the compressor housing???

There both right. My question is why whould you hook the MBC diff. when running it to the BOV.

Unistall it and one of two things will happen.
1) The car will indeed be faster, and something is wrong.
2) It will be the same, and you just got hit in the head too many times.
Its 32.4 seconds of hard labor, but I would give it a shot in case it helps.
