Idles high

I was having emission problems so I pulled of the EGR valve to see if it was functioning right. It held a vacuum, and there didn't seem to be very much carbon build up. In order to pull it out, I had to unplug the IAC connector. I put a new gasket on the EGR and it's on tight, but now that I plugged the IAC back in, it wants to idle high, and the idle increases up to about 2000 rpm. I tried resetting it by pulling the ECM fuse and doing the IAC reset, no luck. When I unplug the IAC, it idles relatively good. Does this sound like a bad IAC sensor?

could be a sticky IAC valve.. But go over everything and make sure you didnt leave any vacuum lines off..

Ditto what DaMoNe6969 said.

Double check your vacuum lines that they are all hooked up (especially on the throttle body, you may have knocked it off and not even realized it been there), none didn't crack on ya or become disonnected down stream of where you were working. Aside form that, did you set/check the pintle depth on the IAC?

replaced IAC valve, and it ran fine. I think we put the connector on wrong...But anywho it idles correctly now. Also replaced the tps because the voltage was out of range at .64 and it should be lower than that.
