its time for me to change the shocks on my expedition, would anybody reccomend a certain manufacturer.

That is dependant on the ride feel you want and what the vehicle is used for. If it is a commuter and vacation ride, Monroe is good. If you want more road feel, KYB is good. So it is a matter of preference on your part. I know Monroe has a lifetime warranty. Not sure on KYB but I think so.
