I was hoping to find out the actual hp. rating of this car. I have heard three different numbers and am becoming frustrated....... can you help!

I had always heard 182 in US trim and 218 in Euro trim. I'm sure someone else knows better than I do though.

Here is a page and website that will tell you just about every spec for yours or any BMW model. Yours is designated as M30 engine

Here are the specs I found from a BMW website
220 bhp @ 5200 rpm
315.5 Nm @ 4000 rpm = 231.99 lb/ft @ 4000 rpm U.S.
Nm to ft/lb multiply by .735 (272 Nm = 200 ft/lb)
ft/lb to Nm multiply by 1.36 (200ft/lb = 272Nm).
BHP to kW multiply by 0.735 (200 bhp = 147.0kW)
