Hey everyone... Quick question. A while back someone pulled out in front of me and i T-boned them with my 96' 2500. Needless to say there car was pretty messed up, but my bumper was bent in the process. Both sides of the bumper (where it wraps around) are bent downwards and the front is angled up a little making closing the hood a task in itself. A few friends have mentioned that i might be able to bend the whole bumper back into place since the actual face of the bumper is not damaged badly at all. How exactly would i do this?? Id like to bend it back if at all possible in order to save money.

It can swivel. Loosen the bolts on the bumper brackets enough and you should be able to put it back.

No insurance or what? Let them take care of it.

they gave me about 600 bucks to get it fixed, but thats long gone. I could replace the bumper for alot less than that myself but id rather just repair it the cheap way if possible... I'll look into that though thanks
