I have a 2002 Denali and need to remove the front bumper cover so I can have it repainted. Some idiot tried to squeeze by me while my vehicle was parked. He scuffed the right side. What holds the Bumper cover on the top part? It looks like the side ends have a couple of screws/bolts as well as the bottom, but how is the top attached and how do you get to it? It this an easy removal?

Hi,
I am sorry to say that the Bumpers section in the GMC service manual does not mention it. :dunno:
Only the grey air deflector strip under the chrome on non-Denali's has push-pins.
It looks like Denalis have a one piece bumper cover that may be a permanent mount.
The screws and bolts probably are for the bumper mounting brackets.
Taking off the bumper is pretty simple.
Take care, Eggert :bananasmi

Try looking on ebay. I have seen several on there. You can look at the photos and maybe figure out how the mount.
