Does anybody have a 1996 Integra LS ecu. My friend needs to pass smog and needs to get one. If anyone knows where I could get one please let me know. I have checked a few shops already with no luck. Since I also know nothing about the LS ecu, were there any difference between 1994 and 1996. I'm guessing that 1996 is when things might have changed over to OBD2.

you need a pr4 ecu. try www.honda-tech.com. i have a question though..............why did he decide to go with an obd1 p74 ecu using a conversion harness in the first place?

I don't understand the question. The guy I'm getting this ecu for is a friend of a friend. I'm guessing he changed his Integra to an LS/Vtec. But I'm not sure.

You might have better luck finding a 96+ LS ecu if you post a WTB thread in the classifieds forum

i thought you were implying that he was using a 94 ecu? if he was using a 94 ecu on his 96 ls, then he would have had to use a obd2 to obd1 conversion harness just to use it. maybe he used a chippd ecu?

if ur look n for a 96 ecu, also search for a 96-98 ecu. 99 and above ecus have a different plug setup.
search on google, u can get them for pretty cheap---- $20. no one buys OBD2 ecus
