Does anyone have any recommendations for a good electric fan? Dual or single? I'm not sure how much of a fan I need for my combo in my sig.

Just wanna make sure Mark 7, or 8? How much might one be used or would I be better off getting a new replacement? Thanks Skyline.

I got a Mark VII from ebay for $90 last year, it will move some air. I believe the earlier mods move more air because of the fan blade pitch, but they are a lot louder under the hood.

How well does it fit? Any modifications that need to be done? How would I know how to wire it up?

What about a Mark VIII fan? There are 2 on ebay now. One of them says it can pull up to 4000cfm.

That is a good one. That can support any thing you can throw at it, just make sure you run a shroud.

You have to know whats good, and whats not. Just ask the guys before you spend your cash.
But with the $220, that came with everything right? Thermo switch, relays, wire, etc.
I had to buy all that extra stuff, but then again, my car will over heat with that flex single fan.

YES! I got myself a fan. For $91 I got a low mileage Mark 8 fan in good shape and very clean, off e-bay. Should be here next week. So what kind of other stuff like relays, etc, will I need?

Ok, so now I have a problem. It doesnt fit! In fact I probably need another inch to clear the water pump. I thought these were supposed to fit fairly well. Any ideas?

Can you cut the shroud and make it fit? A lot of guys use them, so there should be a way to modify it. so it will work.
I am running two 30 amp relays in parallel for the current draw. One 30amp will not hold the load.

The Mark fans you need to trim some depth off the shroud to work in a Mustang.
