Any suggestions as to stroking a 318? Is it even worth doing?

Didn't they do that and call it a 360?

yeah, that's all a 360 is, and a 383 is bored 60 over with the same stroke.

I was just educating myself really quick on allpar and it says there that a 360 has a bore of 4.00 and a stroke of 3.58, from 1971 all the way up until they killed it in 2002.
A 383 low block has a bore and stroke of 4.34 and 3.38.
A 383 high block has a bore and stroke of 4.03 and 3.75.
There are other 383's like the golden commando that has a bore and stroke of 4.25 and 3.38, but I can't find a 383 that has the same stroke as a 360 like you mentioned.
I myself was incorrect. You'd have to both bore and stroke a 318 to be able to get 360 cid...
