Humbrol's new paint formula!?

Just got home from a visit to the LHS and they sold me a can of Humbrol's new laquer spray paint at half the price just to let me try it out. Some times it pays of to be a bit sceptical :naughty: Anyway, I had never seen this one before...so now I wonder if anybody else has? Couldn't find anything on the subject on AF when I searched. Apparently Humbrol planned to release this earlier but it has just landed in the Swedish shops so I have no clue whether it's good or not? On the bottle it says not to overcoat enamel or water based paints and that it suites all not previously painted subjects such as wood, metal and plastic models. Could also be used on lexan bodies according to the can. Quite a versatile paint it seems!? It's cheaper than Tamiya spray as you get 50% more paint at the same price so I really hope it's a useable paint and if so that it will come in many nice colours.
Anyhow, this is what it looks like here in Sweden with the label in Swedish and Finnish.

Well, you almost got it right. It's about the same price as the TS range (69:- at Wentzels in Stockholm) but 50% more in the can. Sorry to dissapoint you :disappoin But it seems exciting enough for me to dig out some old stuff deep down in the pile of unbuilt/started/trashed models to find a suitable subject for the test.

THROW IT AWAY!!! Humbroll's new formula is as shite as the old one. I have had SOOOOO many problems with that stuff. I would just use another brand mate. Sorry to dissapoint :disappoin

Humbrol are the only products, oh and Revell I can actually find in my town REALLY easy. So many shops stock this stuff, but I've used Humbrol Silver - it never seem to dry, and was IMHO rubbish, Revell Glue is also pants for most applications, it does stick the parts but takes ages to dry. As for humbrol clear fix, what a joke that product is.

Not wanting to slag of anyones fav products here, but I've never got on with any humbrol or revell stuff I've tried in the last few months..

Hmm, so they didn't score this time either, too bad. I'll give it a go anyway to see for myself what it actually is and how it works.
I don't understand you guys that doesn't want to try it out judging it by the pros and cons of previous products. I give you that, that the old enamel spray works like shit. But I think their jars is fairly good to work with and the only type of paint you can still brush paint with good results. The super enamel isn't as good as the old one but still one of the better ones around, IMO.
