Cruise control jump out

Hello ther, I'm newbie on this forum and I live in Finland.
First of all, I wanna apologize my bad english language.
I have a 1991 ParkAvenue and I'm very happy with it.
During couple of last week I notice that I have a problem with cruise control. When I ride on higway and use it, sometimes it's work fine but sometimes It's jump off. After that I have to use switch and put it off and on and set the speed again.
Some day this happend few times, some day It's jump off all the time.
Does anybody have any idea what's wrong with it ??
I'm very happy for any idea what I can do.

No need to apologize for your english, it's really very good.
Under the hood(bonnet) of the car, there are two cables that connect to an assembly just behind the throttle body. one is for your gas pedal, and the other is for cruise control. The cruise control one connects on the other end to a big black box. chances are, the box went bad.
