im about to get my car aligned finally and need help deciding if i need to put a camber kit on the rear. i found one for 20 bucks that corrects it 1.5+. is the handling you gain from the negative camber in the rear worth it, or is it better just to save tires(rear). i can already see a little wear starting on the rear tires. its dropped pretty low(2 in)

If the rear tires are wearing I would get the rear toe adjusted before removing the camber. Plus 1.5 is going to remove a bit too much IMO. Maybe a couple washers in there, but you need a good bit of camber. Even stock we have a lot of rear camber. My front and rear toe is set to zero and I get 50k miles out of my relatively soft tires even with all the racing I do. Camber puts more pressure on the inside of the tire. But a heavier vehicle puts more pressure on the tires too, and you dont see heavy cars wearing tires out in 2 weeks ;) Its the toe COMBINED with the camber that cleans the tread right off...
My crystal ball is in the shop getting some upgrades done, so I dont know what car you have. I've always thought that rear toe in a 2g was not adjsutable, but I've recently heard that there is an exxcentric bolt in the lower control arm, havent verified this myself, but its from a trusty source. I'd try to get that set to zero if it isnt already and see if that stops the uneven wear. For a 1g, I'm not sure how its done. The fronts are set with camber plates, not sure about the rear.

i have a 2g gsx. the rear is a little heavier than usuall due to my four 12" subs. the kit is just longer bolts and a few washers. i was thinkin im at about -2.5degrees camber just by lookin at it so i thought the +1.5 woudl leave me with a little left over. my car is just a tiny bit lower than yours kevin(side view of your car on posracing.)
