Idel Motor Sensoer problem

Iv got an xj cherokee 1993 4.0 H.O ... when i start the car in the morrning it start normaly but with a very low idel for about 10 min.and i must but my foot on the gas coz if i dont it will turn off (only when the temp is cold) and when the temp gose to normal every thing gose just fine... iv changed the idel motor sensore with a new one but it still the same..........can any one help me about this???

Activate your "Self test" mode of your ECM. It's easy. With the Engine OFF, turn the key On then off, On then off, On then leave it in the on position. Look at the check engine light on the left side of your dash. Wait a few seconds and you'll see a any trouble code flash. It will give you the first digit of any trouble code first, then pause for 2 seconds then give you the second digit of the trouble code by flashing the number of times equal to the digit.
