starter kill pushbutton

OK, I was lying in bed last night when something came to me. I was sleepy as hell, and my son was kicking me in the neck at the time so I can't say how coherent the idea is, but here goes:
Instead of installing a starter kill switch in my car, would I just be able to mount a push button starter in a hidden location? Would they be able to start the car without finding it?
Damn, that sounds stupid now that I read it but whatever. They would just be able to hotwire it anyway right? Anyway, a real answer would be nice.

they would still be able to hot wire your peice, but the push button would be cool looking.
