yes it will work on your car, there are ups and downs to it. It will not allow your turbo to do what is called "boost spike" which is when a turbo creates more boost than what the boost controller is set to. The downsides of it are simply if you want to run different boost levels, you have to change it everytime where as a electronic onw can be preset to a low and high boost levels with a touch of a button, on certain controllers anyways. And the other downside is that you have to set the boost controller to a certain level, make a pull on it and watch your gauge and then fine tune the controller for the exact ammount of boost you want to use. I used both kinds and fine that a manual is better for me, I run a very high boost setting and just keep the car out of boost wherever I go and when I want to run high boost I change the map on my stand alone for the ammount of octane I am using for my boost level which is 116 and then I can floor it as long as I have 116 in the car. But it's a personal oppinion of what you want to do. any other questions, just let me know.

Ive got a manual boost controller on my auto.. everyone says ebc, but I like the manual.. It took me 10 minutes to set at my disired boost, and i havent had to touch it since..
But i will add that you SHOULD NOT add a boost controller without first getting an aftermarket boost gauge.. Stock gauge is very slow to react and only goes to 8psi..
