Was this a good deal..

94 White Civic CX hatchback. Bone stock, inside condition is mint, as well as outside, not even any rust on the Civic problem areas by the gas tank door. It has 43K, A/C, usual standard stuff (not much), yes it has the rear speakers, 5 speed stick!. I paid $4,200...what do you all think?

Depends on what you are looking for... I got my 1993 CX for $2300 although it does have 163k miles on it, its a honda -- with normal maintainance it will run forever -- not to mention I plan on swapping the motor anyways so it wasnt like a big deal or anything.


I say if you are happy with the vehicle and what you paid -- then sure its a great deal. Its really hard to ask people if you got a good deal over the internet because there are SOOOoooo many factors that can cause someone to pay more for a car, like if its exceptionally clean, perfect paint, low miles like your has, etc. etc. etc. But if you are happy thats all that matters...

And thats odd that TWO people w/ CX's now have rear speakers -- wonder if they threw in rear speakers for all the crap the CX's dont have, sorta like a consulation (sp?) prize... :D

Got any pics of the vehicle yet (yeah I know its stock but still) -- any plans for her?

I plan on putting SI Rims, Tints, and transferring my sound system from my old car (89 civic sedan) to the new CX. Thats probably as much as I want to do to it...maybe change the cluster. I want to drop it a bit but i wont because of these Chicago winters, i dont want the bottom of my car getting scrapped to hell!
