If this is for real, then God help us all. A Porsche sedan is an oxymoron, just like a Porsche SUV. But with that, we have all come to live with it. But a sedan (called the Panamera) would show Porsche's caving into the same performance sedan market that includes the Maserati Quattroporte, Bentley Flying Spur, and so on. But, come on Porsche, don't let this thing leave the drawing board.

A Porsche sedan makes far more sense than the Cayenne.

^^ yeah, a Porsche SUV doesnt make sense. But you have to admit, the sales of the Cayenne speak for themseleves. But, a sedan is stupid for Porsche's image. It shows "hey, we dont car about our past". Heres a link that has more info: http://www.rennteam.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=81614&Main=81609

I think the continued RMS problems show that Porsche doesn't care about its past.

If i don't, why would i look for a Cayman S?
I want to be the first man in this country (New Zealand) to own it.
Hope it comes out sooner or later...

so porsche has kind of turned its back on its heritage, or so it might seem. But if anyone has noticed, they have a good track record (save for the 924 maybe). Even the things they do "wrong" is still brilliant by industry standards. so i say lets sit back, enjoy what promises to me an exciting sports sedan in the highest degree, and, most importantly, ignore the badge on the hood.
