yea, i love domestic cars as much as the next guy, but thats just uncalled for. if you didn't have your head up your ass so far, you might actually be able to appreciate imports. and IF you could find an el camino for $500 it would be rusted all to hell and your 502 would tear the driveline to shit. also, im sure if you could compare the numbers, most of the import cars could drive many more miles than domestic v8 cars. :2cents:

I do appreciate imports..I apprciate every Miata I see. They are the only realistically priced Japanese car that you can have fun with right out of the box. No ricey add-ons necessary. I am good friend with an import car repairman. He laughs when he gets cars in with those shiny cold air intake systems. He laughs and tells me they are only good for sucking in water and dust, giving the engine a short life span. I know stock import cars are good for 200k+ plus miles, but not when you add a turbo and drive like a dummy without beefing up the rest of the engine. And by the way, I drive a '64 Caddy convertible, I keep a Civic in the trunk in case I break down.
