I have been looking for a new or nearly new set of floor mats and it ain't easy. Lincoln has discontinued them, so you can't get them from the dealer.
I did find a nice set but not my color, if you have a beige interior and looking for mats this seems like a good way to go.

I hope that some time soon a pair will show up that are gray. I am looking at the aftermarket ones and they look so cheesy. Anyone found a good source of aftermarket mats. Is it me or do these look right to you?http://www.svpu.com/oldcat/mats/LINmats/images/markviii/MarkVIII5.jpg
I guess it wouldn't look so bad if the writing was Black not that gawd aweful Red.
Any idea,
Barry

These mats in good condition are impossible to find. There is a full set of 4 on Ebay that are the right color, some crazy person wants $400 for them. I would love to have them, but that is way over what I want to spend. Someone else has a pair of fronts that are not as nice as the ones I want to replace.
When we bought the car the floor mats were stained so the dealer bought a new Ford set for us, they fit perfect and have the groumet but they are not real LSC or even Mark VIII mats, they just don't look right without the lettering. So as I was getting the car ready for the summer I found the old LSC mats. Although everything I tried back when didn't work to clean them up, I having been using Shout that Laundry product for stains on the carpeting in the house and wherever, works great. I decided to give it a try on the LSC mats, except for a little heal wear they look brand new. I thought I would post this little hint for others that might have a similar issue. All it takes is a $2 spray bottle of shout and a brush. I was willing to spend a whole lot more for mats.

Barry,
There are a pair of Gray "Factory" mats on ebay. They are up to 80.00 and there is about 4 days left on them. URL= http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=7987367899&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT
