i think im going to get a fuel pump, because after all this hard work, and getting paid 6.15/hr i havent seen any performance mods to my car, and this i will atleast get to install it and know what im doing all this work for.

whatever makes you 1 step closer to turboness is always good
are you gathering all the parts first? or are you installing little things at a time?

gathering parts first, even though i could cancel my insurance and let it set at my house to save more money, but i still like to drive it every once in a while.

i'd say just take your time buying the parts.. don't stop driving, just wait for another paycheck or 2.. be patient.. it'll come together..
the fuel pump is a good idea.. have you thought about a new mafs, injectors along with that? what are your plans for fuel management?

ecu, 370cc for now, walbro 255 fuel pump, z32 mafs
nissanfanatic

MAFS and 370s will max out close to each other. But make sure you get what you're gonna run for a while as whoever tunes your ECU will have to re-tune for upgraded fuel parts. I say go with 550s and a Z32 if you're gonna go with an ECU tune.

good point good point. how much are 550's?
D-Bo
03-08-2005, 05:20 PM
pretty expensive.,. you'll run anywhere from 250 for used to 450 new

300 from bd, not bad

03-08-2005, 05:29 PM

BDs probably require a top feed. That is if they are MSD style top feeds. So call that $400 and IDK if you need a different FPR or if the stock one bolts up.

so what would be a drop in 550cc injector.. link..
nissanfanatic
03-08-2005, 10:12 PM
No. Stock injectors are side feed.
You could go with any side-feed injectors that are drop in for the SR. I forget which ones Tat just ordered. I think Deutch works or something. The guy that sells them is superdave on www.freshalloy.com Link is in his sig.

Don't do it man. Just save and keep dreaming about the parts. You'll thank yourself later. if you need some re-assurance, watch the ultimate ka turbo video again or visit either of the following:
www.phatka-t.com/forums and look at vids.
www.ka-t.org and watch some of the vids, look at the cars

you know you can get a top feed fuel rail on ebay for dirt cheap.. they let the fuel flow a little better but it doesnt make that much of a difference.. your call

And those injectors are cheap because they're used.

03-09-2005, 11:29 AM
And why don't you just get the 660cc ones, it's just 10$ more, or the 600cc ones are same price as 555cc?

they come with a 12 month warranty though, they're real cheap and they guarantee the cc they flow. im going with it. if they fail within a year then ill just send them back.

i didnt see that, but i dont think im going to need 660cc, that is a shitload of hp to max them out i think the 555cc ones are around 475 hp?
my goal is 350whp with a rebuilt engine eventually.

But if you get the big ones you can tell everyone you got them big ass injectors and all the Honda guys are ganna be like "660cc?? That's bigger then my engine!!!"
nissanfanatic
03-09-2005, 05:35 PM
Not only will you be able to show the honda guys your penis to impress them, you will also have the extra room for HP growth say you actually decided to turn up the boost.
Watch out for cheap fuel rails. If they don't line up, you will have a fuel leak and a shitty dilemma.
